list of equipment in a radio/televivsion studio
TELEVISION (MONITOR): These are television that are located in the studio control room for the purpose of controlling those in the studio for quality broadcasting
AIR CONDITIONERS: These help in keeping the studio in good condition because of the sensitivity of the equipment.
FAN: this performs the same work as that of the air condition
LIGHT: it is the help of the light that the script can be read to the audience and for them to visualize the reader’s face
RUGGED: it is for humidity, this helps in absorbing the sound inside the studio room when it comes to working inside
ACOUSTIC: it is for sound proof, this has to do with the design of the studio acoustically for sound proof so that the noise emanating form outside the studio will not interrupt the transmission.
MOUSE: this is attached to the computer system that is located inside the studio for easy access to the computer system. It is normally displayed as a white cross and change to either and arrow or black cross depending on the operation that is being used
CHAIR: the chair in the studio is used for sitting down either by the presenter or the duty continuity announcer (DCA) depending on the programme schedule
CAMERAS: this is located in a television studio for coverage
TRIPOD: it is the three iron peg which the camera is firmly mated on for proper and quality coverage by the camera man.
WALL CLOCK: this helps the studio manager, duty continuity announcer (DCA) and news casters for proper timing of a particular program.
MICRO PHONE: the micro phone seems to be the most important garget in the studio . it is a device in the studio that convert sounds into electrical signals which is used in transmitting during broadcasting
SPEAKERS: this is the speaker that are used for regulating the sound inside the studio before it is released to the audience for hearing
CONSOLE: this is electronic control panel, it is a desk or table keyword onto which the electronic system machine are fixed.
KEYBOARD: it is an array of keys in a row used for operating a computer or musical instrument that has the same features as that a computer.
WIRES: this is a stand carrying electric current from the source to the equipment In the studio for effective working and it is encased in plastic
LAPTOP/DESKTOP: the computer/desktop in the studio is used for regulating the monitoring programmes before and during airing
AMPLIFIER: it is a sound apparatus that make sound louder especially when increasing the sound level of a musical instrument in the studio
MINI DISK RECORDER: this is more or less a table phone that is used for receiving calls during a particular programme when the audience wants to contribute to the topic that is being discoussed
SOCKETS: a shaped hole through which the equipment in the studio are to receive electrical connection in the studio
HEAD PHONE: The headphone is a pair of listening devices joined by a band across the top, the head and worn in over the ears to ascertain the quality level of any programme before it is aired.
MICROPHONE STAND: This is used to hold the microphone firmly in other to avoid distraction and for proper picking of sound inside the studio.
TELEPHONE: The telephone in the studio enables people in the studio to communicate with people who are outside the studio.
SHELVE: This helps in the arrangement of cds and other fragile materials that are very sensitive to handle.
TABLE: The table in the helps to hold some equipment like the mixer sound, it can also be used to adjust and combine various input in the studio
MIXER: the mixer is a recording electronic device for mixing sound , it can also be used to adjust and combine various input in the studio
INDICATOR LIGHT ON STUDIO DOOR: this is an indicator light usually placed on top of the entrance door leading directly to the studio showing that a programme is on air
